Frosty Nipple
Near the end of the 2006 Summer
Series, sailor requested a venue for small boat sailing in the winter.
In an effort to satisfy those requests, the Frosty Nipple series was
conceived. It was decided that there would be a minimum of 6 racing
days, with half being held during the last two months of the previous
year, if possible. This series presents a different climate for the
sailors to hone their heavier air sailing skills...and their cold water
endurance abilities.
This series initiated the 60% participation rule. In order for a sailor
to qualify for the overall trophies, he or she must compete in at least
60% of the races. If they attend more than 60%, then their best races
are considered for their total points.
Below are pictures of the various t-shirt designs and trophies presented for this series.
