Experience FWYC
Welcome to the Fort Walton Yacht Club. The FWYC is located on the western end of beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay in the Florida panhandle. We welcome visitors from other yacht clubs and can provide charge privileges to those visitors that are members of either the Gulf Yachting Association or the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs.

Yacht Club is a private club for use by its
members, their families, and guests. It was established for the
enjoyment of boating, racing, and social activities.
Social Activites
Parties and more!
FWYC offers many social activities.
On a regular basis, FWYC hosts Taco Tuesday, Wednesday Night Dinner, Friday Night Dinner and several Cook-Your-Own Dinner Nights.
The FWYC Entertainment Committee plans and organizes activites throught the year including Gourmet Dinners, Holiday Activities (Easter Egg Hunt, Mother's Day Brunch, etc.), Memorial Day Party and other special events.
Brunch is available every Sunday. Lunch is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Visitors are welcome to come check out FWYC. Check in at the office and ask for a tour.
Boating Activities
Racing & Cruising
FWYC continuously offers many boating activities.
For the cruisers, FWYC organizes a Spring cruise and a Fall cruise.
For the racers, FWYC offers ongoing PHRF and Portsmouth racing.
On the PHRF side, FWYC regularly draws 15+ PHRF boats for the races. Series trophies are awarded for the Wednesday Night Fun Races as well as for the overall weekend races. All 'big' boats are encouraged to come out and race. Come out and race up to 5 times on a Wednesday Night without a PHRF Certificate.
On the Porstmouth end, FWYC schedules regular racing for the small boats. These typically occur on Sunday afternoons throughout the year. All boats 21' and under are welcome.
Private Parties
FWYC Available for Parties!
FWYC is available for private parties through member-sponsorship.
Let FWYC host your next Wedding, Anniversary, Business Luncheon...whatever! FWYC can be contracted by members for private events.
FWYC boasts a 250-person dining facility with dance floor, a 150 person full-service bar/lounge with large-screen TV and panoramic views of the FWYC docks and Garnier's Bayou.
For the private business luncheon, FWYC has a projector and large pull-down screen in the dining room for presentations, videos, etc.
